Win a trip to Fresno? Southwest Airlines offers ‘Fresno getaway’ prize package

FRESNO, Calif. ( KSEE/KGPE ) – A national competition to win the “ultimate Fresno getaway” is being offered by Southwest Airlines as part of the company’s Summer of Go sweepstakes.

The competition is open to all legal residents in the United States (excluding Alaska and Rhode Island) to experience everything that makes Fresno worth visiting, including its three nearby national parks, Fresno Chaffee Zoo and Fulton Street in Downtown Fresno.

“Your chance to win an ultimate Fresno getaway, and experience some of the best things to see and do while you’re there,” states the competition page. “From enjoying endless adventure among the giant sequoias in the national parks, to feeding giraffes.”

As well as flights to Fresno Yosemite International, the winner would also receive a three-night hotel stay, a $250 Visa gift card for ground transportation, premium admission tickets to the Fresno Chaffee Zoo, and two $100 local restaurant gift cards.

The airline, which started flights from Fresno in April 2021 , currently has direct links from Fresno to Denver, Las Vegas and Dallas.
