Silver Alert issued for Frontenac woman

The Kansas Bureau of Investigation has issued a statewide Silver Alert for a woman last seen in Frontenac, Kansas. According to the Frontenac Police Department, 70-year-old Jean Marie Joyce, of Frontenac, walked away from a nursing facility in Frontenac at around 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 29. She was last seen wearing jeans and a pink jacket. The FPD requested KBI issue a Silver Alert and is asking for the public’s assistance to help locate Joyce.

Joyce is a white female who is 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighs around 120 pounds. She has brown and grey hair and blue eyes. Joyce has dementia. Anyone with information is asked to call 911, or the Frontenac Police Department at (620) 231-9216.
