    Frontenac’s Abi Beaman Named the 2024 Sports in Kansas 3A Player of the Year

    FRONTENAC, KS — Sports in Kansas announced their players of the year for each for softball and Frontenac’s Abi Beaman was named the 2024 Sports in Kansas 3A Player of the Year.

    Beaman had a huge senior season with the Lady Raiders.

    Beaman is a 4-time All-State selection and helped lead Frontenac to their second state title in three seasons.

    She finished the year with a .535 batting average, a .921 slugging percentage. Beaman also racked up 54 hits, 13 doubles, four triples, 6 home-runs and 51 RBI’s.

    In their state title game against Silver Lake, Beaman hit a home-run and Frontenac went on to win 3-0.

    Over her career, Beaman racked up 161 hits, which caps off her time as a Lady Raider as one of the best in 3A history.

    Beaman is set to continue her softball career at the next level as she is signed and committed to Avila University.
