Holdrege man to continue psychiatric care after 2019 shootings
Phelps County, Neb. — A Holdrege man who was found not responsible for a double homicide by reason of insanity will continue to be held at the Lincoln Regional Center. According to Phelps County District Court records, Manuel Gomez, 51, will remain at LRC while he undergoes a treatment plan.
Sentencing set for man who burglarized Kearney businesses
Buffalo County, Neb. — A jury has found a Kearney man guilty of burglarizing businesses last year. According to Buffalo County District Court records, on Wednesday, a jury found John Forrest, 56, guilty of three counts of burglary, one count of attempted burglary and one count of theft by unlawful taking.
