WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAW) - The holiday weekend is winding down, but there will be some decent weather to enjoy. That includes Saturday night, with some clouds around and dry conditions for the fireworks displays that are taking place. Clouds will increase toward morning on Sunday. A chance of scattered showers and storms on Sunday from the morning to the late afternoon. Monday and Tuesday will feature intervals of sun, along with chances of showers or storms. Wednesday will have an isolated afternoon storm in spots, but it does appear dry weather will take hold late in the week into the start of next weekend. It will also get warmer, with highs rising into the 80s.

The last two summers I had the incredible opportunity to work for the Wisconsin State Fair Dairy Promotion Board, caring for and milking the demonstration dairy herd and educating fairgoers about our state’s impressive $45.6 billion dairy industry in Dairy Lane. This year, I look forward to returning to West Allis in a new role, as the 77th Alice in Dairyland, Wisconsin’s Agriculture Ambassador, to promote the agriculture exhibits and educational opportunities inside State Fair Park.
