Poll: Wisconsin voters divided on Trump conviction, appropriate sentencing
(The Center Square) – Wisconsinites hold a wide variety of opinions on former President Donald Trump’s conviction, a recent Marquette Law School poll shows. Despite Democrats making up only 29% of respondents, 55% of registered Wisconsin voters think Trump is guilty, while 36% believe the jury decided wrongly and 9% are unsure. Half of voters believed prosecuting Trump was the right thing to do, versus 42% who did not and 8% undecided. However, opinions still fell largely among party lines, with Independents split. ...

Wisconsin athletics will be well represented in France at Olympic Games Paris 2024. As many as twelve former Badgers will make the trek oversees in search of a gold medal. Only a handful of collegiate programs, including Big Ten rivals Penn State, USC and UCLA, will send at least 10 Olympians to this summer’s games.

Central Wisconsin Faces Ongoing Flooding; NWS Issues River Flood Warning
Green Bay, WI – Flooding continues to impact central Wisconsin, with warnings issued for multiple counties following severe storms. A River Flood Warning remains in effect for the Little Wolf River south of the Manawa dam until late Monday morning. According to the US National Weather Service Green Bay, residents should stay updated on river levels and avoid driving on flooded roads. On Friday, flash flood warnings were issued for several counties, including Waupaca, Outagamie, and southern Brown. Over five inches of rain fell near Manawa, causing major street flooding and prompting evacuations, including a local nursing home.
