Tire Disposal Event In Greeley Next Month
If you live in Weld County, next month the Weld County Department of Public Health and Environment is inviting you to a tire disposal event. The tire disposal event will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 3 at the Household Hazardous Waste Center, 1311 N. 17th Av., Greeley, reports the Greeley Tribune. The pilot program event, previously limited to residents of unincorporated Weld County, will help reduce waste and the environmental impact of improperly disposed tires. At the disposal event, Household Hazardous Waste staff will accept off-rim tires. Participants can turn in up to four passenger car tires or light truck tires.
