Area Fourth of July Celebrations are Open to the Public
The area will be full of fireworks celebrations on the Fourth of July. Starting in Buffalo Center where the Fire Department will have a display scheduled to begin at dusk or 9:30pm at Bison Field. The public is invited to attend the event. The celebration is a result of the money donated at Easter during the annual Pancake Day breakfast.
National Night Out comes to Webster City
Webster City will be one of 46 cities in Iowa observing National Night Out on Tuesday,August 6. Webster City Police, the Hamilton County Sheriffs Department, Iowa State Patrol and Van Diest Medical Center will be just some of the agencies participating in the program that is designed to foster positive relationships with the public and with law enforcement, fire fighters and EMS personnel. The evening will feature games, food, displays of police patrol cars and fire trucks and more. There will be more information to be announced in the next few weeks on the National Night Out event in Webster City.
