Scooter crash in south Boise leaves 1 dead
A man died early Sunday morning following a scooter crash in south Boise. Boise police responded to the crash just before 2 a.m. Sunday after a man riding a Vespa-style scooter crashed near South Federal Way and South Findley Avenue, Boise police said in a news release. The man was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries and died at the hospital. BPD’s Crash Reconstruction Team’s preliminary investigation shows the scooter was headed eastbound on Federal Way when the driver lost control and crashed, the release said. No other people or vehicles were involved. The man’s identity has not yet been publicly released.
