It's almost August and that means the beginning of football season is around the corner. Gardner-area football teams saw their share of success last season and will gear up for hopes of seeing more great moments this year.

Check out the area school's schedules, next up with Quabbin.

The Panthers will play the same opponents as last season, kicking off with a highly competitive local game against the Gardner Wildcats. Non-league opponents include David Prouty, Quaboag and Oxford. The rest of Quabbin's games are Mid-Wach E matchups.

Quabbin finished the 2023-24 season with a record of 5-6. They had some big wins against Prouty (34-29), Ayer-Shirley (20-14) and Oxford (28-20). As they play the same schedule, it will be interesting to see how they match up with these same teams after a year's time.
