Gregg Takes Over as Head Coach of Warren Swimming and Diving Team
WARREN, Pa. – Brandon Gregg may be a first-year head coach, but he’s no stranger to the Warren Swimming & Diving program. Gregg, who retired from the Army in 2020, was officially approved by the school board on June 24 to take over for Russ Byer, who had led the program for a decade. Gregg had spent the last two years coaching divers, first as a volunteer and last season as an assistant coach.
Children’s bike rodeo set Aug. 3 in Titusville
PennDOT and its safety partners will host a free children’s bicycle rodeo on Saturday, August 3, at Titusville City Hall. Registration begins at 9:30 a.m., with activities from 10 a.m. to noon. The event aims to promote bicycling, educate kids on safety, and develop safe biking habits. Children aged 5 to 12 can participate, and must bring a bicycle, helmet, and a parent or guardian to sign a permission slip. Activities will teach safety skills, and Titusville police will inspect helmets and bikes. The rodeo coincides with the launch of Titusville’s bicycle registration program to help identify and return lost or stolen bikes. A drawing for two free bicycles and a limited number of free helmets will be offered, along with a free hot dog lunch.
