Police seeking tips in series of overnight fires in rural Box Elder County
MANTUA, Box Elder County — Recent fires on Rocky Dugway Road in Mantua, Box Elder County, have puzzled the community and damaged at least three properties. Police do not know the official causes of the fires, though it's possible they were started by a person or group of people. If the fires were ignited by people, their targets have been abandoned structures and a construction site. All of the fires occurred between midnight and 5 a.m., the Mantua Police Department said in a press release Thursday.
