5-year-old girl walked away from school in the middle of the day, parent says
CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG/Gray News) - A parent said his 5-year-old daughter walked away from her elementary school only to be found by a stranger. “What happened to my family today is an atrocity that should not happen to anyone in the school district,” John Thompson told the Cedar Rapids Community School District during Monday night’s meeting.
