Burger King in Spring Hill, FL Cited for 2 Violations in Hernando County

During a recent Florida Department of Business & Professional Regulation inspection, the Burger King in Spring Hill was cited for a pair of violations that needed immediate attention.

The popular fast-food restaurant at 1394 Commercial Way in Hernando County received a warning and required a follow-up inspection.

This is What Happened During The Inspection: The initial August 16, 2024, routine inspection revealed 1 high-priority violation and 1 basic violation. The inspector observed 13 small flying insects in the dry storage area, landing on bags of hamburger buns and cardboard boxes.

Additionally, a dead roach was found underneath the burger grill.

In response to these findings, the Hernando County restaurant took action as the area where the dead roach was found was promptly cleaned, according to state records.

Meanwhile, a follow-up inspection on August 20, 2024, showed the restaurant meeting inspection standards.

However, one high-priority violation, regarding live insects, was still noted, indicating ongoing efforts to comply fully with regulations.

Burger King is known for its grilled burgers, fries, and shakes, and this location currently holds a 3.4-star rating from 1,102 Google reviews.

However, recent customer feedback suggests room for improvement.

I went there and they shorted me on the food the fries were soggy there ice cream machine was broken staff were super slow as well . The worst experience I've had at any business for fast food .don't go here .
