New in NoVa: Immigrant Food opening first Virginia location
A trendy DC-based restaurant brand is expanding for the first time into Northern Virginia. It’s called Immigrant Food and it’s coming to Ballston over in Arlington. Immigrant Food already has three locations in Washington. Now, it’s latest restaurant will open this Tuesday, July 23 at 4245 North Fairfax Drive. Duo pleads guilty to SW Va. meth, fentanyl conspiracy
ABINGDON, Va. — A pair of Wise County residents pleaded guilty to federal drug charges, related to what authorities describe as a major meth and fentanyl operation. Bradley Mitchell Chester, 39, and Jaime Allison Foster, 24, both of Pound, appeared in U.S. District Court in Abingdon on Friday, where they entered their guilty pleas.

East Tennessee drug dealer sentenced to 24 years after being caught in Knoxville, DA says
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - A Johnson City man was sentenced on Monday after he pleaded guilty to several counts, according to Knox County District Attorney Charme Allen. Allen said 34-year-old William Jacob Henry was charged with unlawful possession of a weapon, possession with intent to sell fentanyl, possession with intent to sell methamphetamine and possession of a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony in connection to an incident that happened in April 2023.
