The Supreme Court of Virginia ruled against a man who claimed the state’s Department of Corrections wrongly withheld credits for an earlier release by using a date “well after his arrest” as the point he started earning the credits instead of his arrest date.
Mega Millions ticket sold in Eastern Henrico wins $1M
A winning Mega Millions ticket worth $1 million was purchased at a 7-Eleven in Eastern Henrico County July 19, but the winner has not yet come forward. The winning numbers in the drawing were 10-17-23-50-67 with Mega Ball number 3. The Henrico ticket was the only one in Virginia and one of just three in the nation to match the first five numbers. The holder of the winning ticket has 180 days to claim his or her prize.
