Police: Car fire at East 55th Marina leaves driver, Metroparks officer injured
CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Metroparks says one of its police officers was among two injured after a car caught fire near the East 55th Street Marina Monday night. A Metroparks spokesperson tells 3News police pulled the car over for allegedly driving without headlights and, after being stopped, the vehicle burst into flames. Both the officer as well as the car's driver were hurt and taken to MetroHealth Medical Center. Their conditions are not known at this time.
