Man dies in workplace accident at Rocky Mount water treatment plant
A man died Sunday afternoon after falling into a pumping station at a water treatment plant in Rocky Mount. According to a representative for the city, the man was performing work on an electrical junction box around 6:15 p.m. at the water treatment plant on Leaston Road when he was shocked and fell into the water at the pumping station.
