Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest of a suspect in a deadly hit and run crash more than a decade ago. On July 23, 2011, 22-year-old Alexandria Castanon was walking on Center Road near Richfield Road in Genesee Township when she wa struck by a vehicle and killed. Jerry Provost
PROVOST, Jerry A. age 86 of Grand Blanc, formerly of Ortonville, passed away peacefully with his. family by side on July 18, 2024. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of Jerry’s life will be held Sunday, August 25 from 2 – 6 PM at Goodrich Country Club. He will be laid to rest at Great Lakes National Cemetery. After 90 minutes of discussion Monday night, the Clarkston City Council decided on a plan to repave Main Street and possibly to install a water main for the next summer was all wet. Following a suggestion made by Gary Tressell, the city’s engineer, the council voted 6-0 to delay the repaving project for one year so it could work out solutions to have a water main installed on Main Street.
