LeBron & Steph were born in the same Akron, Ohio hospital

OHIO — Years ago when NBA legend Charles Barkley was asked, "What're the chances the NBA's two best players were born in the same hospital, Barkley smirked.

"The chances are slim to none..." Barkley said. "And I hear — Slim left town yesterday."

Indeed, both legends taking their first breaths in the Summa Akron City Hospital borders on miraculous. Heck, no credible filmmaker would accept any script with that storyline. After all, Hollywood bases its fiction on fact.

Yet when the USA Mens Basketball Team tips off tonight against Canada, the two Ohio-born legends will be the stars of the show.

In their stellar careers, LeBron and Steph have battled for 4 NBA championships. And so, for these rivals-turned-friends to have been born in the same hospital is like hearing the same midwife helped birth Mozart and Beethoven...

...It's unheard of!

LeBron once joked, "Maybe there was something in the Ohio water" during the times of his and Curry's births.
