Historically New York has been a 'blue state' — that could all change this year

New York City — "For the first time, New York is in play!" GOP leaders proudly announced.

With the Republican National Convention only a few days away, members of Biden's own "side" are calling for him to step down. A growing number of House Democrats hope to right the ship before it's too late.

Perhaps more worrisome of all is this: Democrats are concerned the president is taking New York for granted.

According to reports, for the first time ever — New York is expected to be a surprisingly competitive state.

"Appreciate what you have before it turns into what you had," runs the saying.

In short, as of now and for the foreseeable future: President Joe Biden and the Demoractic Party has a new, major problem. For the first time in history, they're set for a competitive race in deep blue New York.
