DeKalb County deputies arrest man for having two pounds of cannabis
DeKalb County deputies on Sunday arrested 56-year-old Shawn Joseph Weisfeld of Fountain, Colorado, during a traffic stop on I-88 near DeKalb. Police allege that Weisfeld had two pounds of cannabis. Weisfeld was charged with unlawful possession of cannabis and was taken to the DeKalb County Jail in Sycamore. He was released later on a notice to appear in court.
Maple Park boy reported missing, endangered
MAPLE PARK, Ill. (WIFR) - The Kane Co. Sheriff’s Department and Maple Park police search for a missing endangered 14-year-old boy. Asher D. McIlnay, 14, was last seen around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday wearing gray sweatpants, a black shirt, gray hoodie, flat brim dark colored ball cap, black Converse shoes and was possibly carrying a backpack.
