Warm, steamy, occasionally active end to July, start to August expected
ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) - We’ll soon close out the month of July, and weather-wise, it’s been quite noteworthy. Should we not reach 90° Wednesday, this July would be just the tenth since 1905 to not produce a single 90° high temperature in Rockford. To that point, July will go down as the first month in 2024 to finish the month with cooler than normal temperatures as a whole.

Bears sign DJ Moore to historic contract extension
The Chicago Bears have committed big money to their top wide receiver DJ Moore. On Tuesday, Moore and the Bears reportedly agreed to a four-year contract extension worth $110 million.
