Scattered strong to severe storms possible Thursday
Welcome to August friends! I can’t believe we ended July with just one 90° day and it so happened to occur on the final day of the month. As for August, Rockford typically sees average highs stay in the low 80s, with average lows dropping into the upper 50s by the 31st. Highs to begin the month will remain above average as the “ring of fire” keeps a firm grip on the Midwest. Not only that, we look to see a few more chances for scattered storms before our pattern quiets down this weekend.
