United Way of Tompkins County Announces Award & Impact Fund Recipients
United Way of Tompkins County (UWTC) announced their list of community members recognized for their contributions on Monday. United Way takes note of positions in the community who go above and beyond for Tompkins County by taking part in UWTC activities. (WNY News Now) – Syracuse, NY – A brutal homicide in Syracuse has left the community in shock as details of the investigation unfold. On July 15, 2024, at approximately 7:22 p.m., Syracuse Police Officers responded to 103 Riverdale Dr., Apt. 1, for a status check. Upon arrival, they discovered Kevin Works, born March 6, 1962, suffering from apparent injuries inflicted by a cutting instrument. Despite immediate medical attention from AMR paramedics, Works was pronounced dead at the scene.
