Car, truck, fire apparatus show July 20 in Georgetown

GEORGETOWN – Cars, trucks and fire apparatus will be showcased Saturday, July 20 at the Georgetown Historical Society.

Historical Society spokesman Jim Bowden said as of Saturday he has received commitments from 10 fire companies, and upwards of a dozen or more antique and vintage fire trucks are expected.

The County Seat Cruisers is sponsoring the car and truck show.

The event will run from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Georgetown Historical Society, 510 South Bedford Street. It includes an open house during which all museum buildings and exhibits will be open.

Admission is free and refreshments will be available.

In addition, the show may include local dirt track legends.
