Delaware State Police Investigating Shooting in Milton
Delaware State Police are investigating a shooting that occurred in Milton this morning. On July 22, 2024, at approximately 4:47 a.m., troopers responded to the 14000 block of Collins Street in Milton for a report of a shooting. When troopers arrived, they found a 19-year-old man that had been shot in upper torso and began life-saving efforts. The victim was taken by ambulance to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries. The preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was living in a shed on the property when an unknown suspect fired several shots into the shed, hitting the victim.

Pennsylvania man faces strangulation charge
A Pennsylvania man was charged with assault and strangulation July 18, after police say he argued with his girlfriend in a Rehoboth Beach hotel. Rehoboth Beach police were called to a hotel in the ocean block of Olive Avenue at 10:18 a.m. after a couple had been arguing for hours, police said. The argument became physical when, police said, Joseph Milano, 45, of Columbia, Pa., hit his girlfriend, 34, also of Pennsylvania, in the face, choked her and then tried to smother her with a pillow.
