COVINGTON, Ky. (WKRC) - In the next week or so, Greater Cincinnati medical marijuana dispensaries should be cleared to begin selling cannabis to recreational customers. The state already granted several local medical dispensaries provisional licenses, so it's just a matter of getting a state inspector inside to allow them to start selling recreational products to the public.
KSP crime report shows significant increase in human trafficking crimes
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - KSP’s newly released ‘Crime in Kentucky’ report covers a wide range of serious crimes committed across the commonwealth. While human trafficking crimes make up a small percentage of overall offenses in Kentucky (0.03%), they’ve made the biggest jump, percentagewise. The report shows a nearly 40 percent rise from 2022 to 2023.
