What will the final College Football Playoff top 25 rankings be this season? More importantly, what will the top 12 be? To drill down even further, what will the top 11 be, and who'll be that 12th team from the Group of Five champion pool - if it doesn't already make the top 12, and ...

The top five ranked conference champions are automatically in with the top four out of that group being 1-4. Here's the problem - a champion doesn't have to be ranked in the top four to get a top four seed and a first round bye.
Notre Dame can't get a top four seed, but it can finish anywhere in the final College Football Playoff rankings.
A fifth champion could be ranked low, or not at all, and get that 12 seed. With all of that said ... These are the predicted final College Football Playoff rankings and NOT the 12 seeds for the actual CFP.
