The Georgiana Cops Care For Kids Program, an initiative spearheaded by Police Chief Jeremy Peagler, has introduced a little free library located in the Police Department’s lobby for community use. Residents are encouraged to visit and bring their children to pick out a free book.

Additionally, those with unused books or who are wishing to make a donation can leave their contributions in the little library to share with the community.

“It’s completely free. There are no strings attached and no donations required,” Peagler said. “You come in, grab a book or leave one. Keep it or trade it in for another one.”
