East Peoria fatal crash victim identified by coroner
EAST PEORIA, Ill. – A 16-year-old girl from Washington has been identified as the victim in a single-vehicle fatal crash early Monday morning. Tazewell County Coroner Charles Hanley says Avery Grazier was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash on Springfield Road, south of Muller, just after 3:15 A.M.
Few rain chances through Wednesday
PEORIA (25News Now) - Temperatures will remain seasonably mild for late July as humidity trends higher for the remainder of the work week. Dew points will trend in the upper 60′s, keeping us in the humid to uncomfortable ranges on the muggy meter. Patchy fog will be possible during the morning commute, but it is not expect to be dense enough to cause any major travel impacts. A few isolated showers and thunderstorms will be possible this afternoon with highs in the mid 80′s, but most will remain dry. Locally heavy rainfall will be possible with any pop-up. Our best chance for rain this week will arrive the second half of Wednesday as a cold front slides through the region. As this front passes, scattered showers and a few thunderstorms will be possible. Temperatures will begin to climb for the second half of the week into the weekend with highs reaching the lower 90′s by Sunday!
