    2 injured after car crashes through guardrail, hangs off wall in Germantown

    GERMANTOWN, Md. ( DC News Now ) — Officials in Montgomery County said two people were taken to the hospital after a car jumped over a curb and was hanging off a wall in Germantown Thursday morning.

    In a post on X at 7:49 a.m., Pete Piringer with the Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Department said firefighters were called to the 19800 block of Century Blvd, near Town Commons Drive for a crash.

    There, crews found a car dangling off an eight-foot retaining wall.

    Officials said two people, who were in the car, were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
