The Uvalde Foundation For Kids, which was established after the mass shooting in 2022 at Robb Elementary that claimed the lives of 19 students and two teachers, is dedicated to ending school violence, but they also aid in the search for missing people.
Schertz Police Probe Targeted Shooting on Columbia Drive; Two Injured, Perpetrator(s) at Large
The Schertz Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred early Sunday morning on Columbia Drive, leaving two individuals injured out of the four occupants in a vehicle found riddled with bullet holes. According to KENS 5, officers responded to the scene around 2:45 a.m. after reports of a disturbance, and upon arrival, they discovered the damaged car on the 3700 block of Columbia Drive, not far from Interstate-35.
Fire claims home in Redwood, no injuries reported

TEXAS - Central Texas fire departments are using creative messaging to remind people about the rules and the dangers related to fireworks. The Round Rock Fire Department posted a video featuring Elmo, while Cedar Park and New Braunfels shared photos of their firefighters holding up signs that said "Leave the fireworks to Katy Perry" and "911 is not for ‘annoying’ fireworks."
