Valley man passes away in single-car accident
A single-vehicle collision has claimed the life of 59-year-old Brian Gilbert of Valley, who passed away last Thursday, June 27, 2024. According to Washington State Patrol (WSP) reports, Gilbert was driving his 2022 Toyota RAV4 northbound on State Route 231 at milepost 72 when it “left the roadway and struck two signposts and one utility pole. [The] vehicle … came to rest against a utility pole off the roadway.”
