Another South Carolina basketball non-conference game on the books
South Carolina basketball coach Dawn Staley might be coming off of her third National Championship, but the Gamecock boss certainly is not resting on her laurels. Despite no need to do so, Coach Staley once again is scheduling one of the toughest slates in the country. District Five names interim principal for Seven Oaks Elementary School
IRMO – Lexington-Richland School District Five has named longtime administrator Dr. Angie Slatton as the interim principal of Seven Oaks Elementary Global Magnet. Slatton currently serves as the district’s director of special services, a role she has occupied since 2014. She has also worked at the State Department of Education as a grant director and as a special education teacher.
Airport hosts youth camp and Moms clinic
Airport High School’s two free summer football clinics drew more than 200 participants from the community to the campus this month. Both events—the Friday Night Lights Youth Camp and Moms Football Clinic—were coached by Airport athletic director and football coach Shane Fidler, along with his team of assistant coaches and Airport football players. All participants took to the field at Eagle Stadium.
