    How to Make Survival Biscuits

Hey there! Today, I'm going to show you how to make some awesome survival biscuits using powdered milk and powdered butter. These biscuits are perfect for camping trips or emergencies when you need a quick and tasty snack.

    Ingredients:

    • 2 cups of self-rising flour
    • 1/3 cup of powdered milk
    • 1/2 cup of powdered butter
    • 1 cup of water, plus 1 1/2 tablespoons
    • About 1/2 cup of canola oil for the skillet method. For the baking method, just use enough canola oil to grease the bottom of the pan.

    Instructions:

First, mix the self-rising flour, powdered milk, and powdered butter in a bowl. Make sure to mix them well so that everything is evenly combined.

Next, slowly add water to the mixture. You want the dough to be thick and slightly sticky, so don't add too much water.

Cover the dough and let it rest for at least 10 minutes.

Take small pieces of the dough and shape them into biscuits. You can make them any size you want.

Add about a 1/4 cup of canola oil to a large skillet and let it get hot over medium-high heat. You can also use lard or bacon grease to cook the biscuits.

Place the biscuits in the hot oil and cover the skillet with a lid, or bake them in the oven at 425 degrees until they're golden brown, which takes about 12 to 15 minutes.

If you're frying the biscuits in a skillet, flip them halfway through cooking. Add more canola oil if needed. Cook the biscuits for about 5 to 8 minutes on each side.

Once the biscuits are done, allow them to cool for a bit, and then enjoy your delicious survival biscuits! Remember, these biscuits are perfect for camping trips or emergencies when you need a quick and easy breakfast or snack.
