Chicagoland man facing decades in prison after attempting to rack up thousands in charges on stolen credit card
A man from the Chicago suburbs has been arrested five months after he made several attempts to use stolen credit cards at Coral Ridge Mall. According to arrest reports, a suspect went into the University of Iowa Health Care Clinic on North Dodge Street and stole a wallet from an office not open to the public on February 1st. He and another suspect, identified as 20-year-old Antonio Tallie of Park Forest, then reportedly used the cards at Target and Best Buy. They tried to use one card at Target for $1271.99 but the card was declined. The other suspect tried to use three different cards at Best Buy for a total of over $2860, but they were all declined.
Vernon Hills Police Provide Traffic Plan for July 4th Festivities
Vernon Hills, IL – Residents of Vernon Hills are gearing up for a spectacular July 4th fireworks display, scheduled from 9:15 to 9:30 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to park in the western lot of upper-level Hawthorn Mall and walk west along Center Drive.
