A 70-year-old man pulled from a Glencoe swimming pool on Sunday afternoon was transported to a hospital in critical condition, according to information from Glencoe Public Safety.

Authorities reportedly responded at 12:28 p.m. on Sunday, June 2, to a home in the 300 block of Old Green Bay Road for a report of an unresponsive individual in the pool.

First responders attempted life-saving efforts after the man was removed from the pool, the release said.

Glencoe Public Safety Deputy Chief Andrew Perley said the man remained unresponsive through life-saving measures and when he was transported to Evanston Hospital.
