According to CarEdge, luxury models dominated the slowest selling new cars in August. “In fact, Stellantis brands like Jeep and Maserati occupy much of the top 10,” per CarEdge. “These cars are slow sellers, and are especially negotiable.

According to CarEdge, the slowest selling car in America is again the 2024 Dodge Hornet. That means the model has the most inventory. Why does this matter? When dealers have more of a certain model on hand, they may be more likely to negotiate with you.

If you’ve wanted a Jeep, maybe it’s time to consider the Grand Wagoneer. There is plenty of inventory available, which may mean a good deal for you. That may be especially helpful given that this can be a pricier vehicle. Per Car and Driver , “Jeep’s large luxury SUV gets it done with brute size and strength but with little connection to its classic namesake.”

Mercedes-Benz EQB

Here’s another slow selling car to check out before the new year. The starting price for the 2024 Mercedes-Benz EQB is around $54,000. According to Car and Driver, “If you’re tired of EVs that try too hard to be unique, consider the 2024 Mercedes-Benz EQB. It looks so similar to the subcompact, gas-powered GLB-class SUV , you might not even realize that it’s powered by electrons — at least until you drive it.”

Lincoln Aviator

In addition to offering a quiet and smooth ride, Edmunds noted the adventure-aiding tech features. “Land Rover offers a few innovative optional tech features that can help Discovery Sport owners both on- and off-road,” per Edmunds. “Included in the Technology pack is the ClearSight digital rearview mirror, which uses an exterior-mounted camera to give drivers an unobstructed view of the road aft of the vehicle.”

Mini Hardtop 4-Door

We rounded out our list of slow selling cars to consider for a good deal with the Mini Hardtop 4-Door.
