Illinois announces new $140M federal investment for quantum computing research

It was an incredible weather event yesterday. Our entire area, at one point or another, was under a tornado warning, and I can’t remember if that’s ever happened before. Earthquake Shakes Illinois: Shocking Footage Inside (Video)
A 3.4 magnitude earthquake struck Northern Illinois early this morning. The earthquake occurred a little before 3 a.m. in Southern DeKalb County, near the town of Somonauk. The earthquake was felt in various locations including Winthrop Harbor, Cary, and Yorkville. Heather and Cory were awakened by the quake, initially mistaking it for a storm. Marcia in Winthrop Harbor reported feeling her house shake. A resident in Cary noticed the loud and rumbly noise, distinguishing it from thunder. Dan in Yorkville also felt the earthquake.
