Regional Mexican Star Carín León Receives Key to California City, Host of Major Music Festival

Excitement is building in Coachella as the city prepares to welcome regional Mexican sensation Carín León for a special presentation of the Key to the City on Saturday, April 20th.

This exclusive event will take place at the Coachella Library on 7th Street, starting at 10:30am with live music by Banda Reyna Del Valle, leading up to the official ceremony featuring Mayor Steven Hernandez and City Council members at approximately noon.

Carín León, set to headline at both the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival and Stagecoach Festivals in the coming weeks, will make a memorable stop in Coachella to accept this prestigious honor. The community is invited to join in celebrating this occasion and enjoy complimentary light refreshments from 10:30am to noon, with keepsakes available to commemorate the day (while supplies last).

In anticipation of the event, six lucky winners selected through Noticias Telemundo 15 and La Poderosa 96.7 FM will enjoy VIP experiences including a personal meet and greet with Carín León before the Key to the City ceremony. Winners will be notified by a City official on Friday, April 19th.
