Burning Man 2024 tickets on sale for Nevada desert event that attracts 80,000 free spirits globally

The Burning Man Project, a nonprofit organization promoting societal connection and thriving communities, has announced the availability of on-demand tickets for its 2024 Black Rock City event. The annual gathering, set to take place from August 25 to September 2 in Northern Nevada's Black Rock Desert, is known for its emphasis on immediacy and participation through its 'Oh My God' ticket sale (or OMG Sale).

Marian Goodell, CEO of the Burning Man Project, highlighted the event's role in fostering community and countering societal divisions. "Experiencing the awe, inspiration, creativity, and community of Burning Man in Black Rock City is the antidote to today's societal division and polarization," she said. "Burning Man is a community not defined by conflict and hate, nor by weather, but instead by generosity, civic responsibility, and communal effort."

Since 1990, Black Rock City has been a temporary metropolis of 80,000 artists, makers, and builders. The event serves as the cornerstone of the Burning Man Project's broader mission to cultivate creativity, connection, and innovation worldwide. Beyond Black Rock City, the nonprofit supports global cultural initiatives, leadership events, and arts and civic projects through grants and local programming in Northern Nevada.
