    WalletHub's latest analysis ranks California's community colleges among the best in the nation for 2024, highlighting institutions that offer exceptional education at affordable prices. The comparison involved over 650 community colleges, evaluated across 18 indicators of cost and quality.

    Leading the California schools is Irvine Valley College, which secured the 6th spot nationally. Known for its robust academic programs and supportive student environment, Irvine Valley College offers a high-quality education with a favorable student-faculty ratio.

    College of San Mateo also made the top 10, landing in 9th place. The college is recognized for its strong graduation rates and comprehensive support services, making it a standout choice for students seeking value and quality.

    Moreno Valley College, coming in at 12th, and De Anza College, at 13th, are also celebrated for their excellent education at competitive prices. Both institutions provide diverse programs and maintain a focus on student success.

    Saddleback College and Santa Rosa Junior College round out the top 15 for California, offering students affordable tuition and a range of academic and career programs.
