In a unique blend of community spirit and star power, "The Wausau Business Show," a leading Midwest radio program known for its philanthropic efforts, is spearheading a campaign to bring a Red Lobster to Wausau, Wisconsin. The initiative features a mix of local enthusiasm, celebrity endorsements, and creative events.

As part of the campaign, the show organized a 90-mile "Lobster Bus" trip to the nearest Red Lobster, raising $15,000 for charity. Celebrity support includes Flava Flav, who has lent his star power to the cause. Local residents have shown their commitment in various ways, including one who got a tattoo featuring the Red Lobster logo and "Wausau."

The campaign has also gained backing from Wausau's regional airport, which is offering two round-trip tickets to Orlando for a winner to personally advocate for the town at Red Lobster’s corporate headquarters. Additionally, the Mayor of Wausau participated in a dramatic reading of the Red Lobster menu on-air.

Co-hosts Ryan Gallagher and Paul Grinsel are leading the charge, emphasizing the strong demand for popular chains in Wausau. Gallagher hinted at future initiatives, including potential involvement from other celebrities like Busta Rhymes. With the show’s recent success, including a significant charitable donation and widespread local support, the push for a Wausau Red Lobster continues to gain momentum.
