The National Weather Service (NWS) reports that cooler-than-average temperatures will continue across the Bay Area and Central Coast through the weekend, with persistent onshore winds bringing gusty conditions and coastal fog.

Temperatures on Thursday ranged from the 60s and 70s along the coast to the 80s and mid-90s inland. Tonight, dense fog is expected to develop along the coast, reducing visibility to less than a mile in some areas, with patchy drizzle possible.

Friday will bring a slight warm-up, with inland areas reaching the 80s to 90s and coastal regions remaining in the 60s. The NWS forecasts similar weather through the weekend, with a slight warm-up expected by mid-next week.
