The weekend will bring a mix of dry and breezy conditions across western Nevada, while thunderstorms continue to affect parts of Northwest Arizona and Lincoln County. The National Weather Service in Las Vegas reports that drier air will move into the region on Monday and Tuesday, leading to rising temperatures and decreasing storm activity in most areas, except for eastern Mohave County.

Today, thunderstorms have already brought rainfall to Lincoln County and are expected to bring more intense storms, particularly to northern Mohave County, where a Flash Flood Watch remains in effect. While Las Vegas might see a stray storm, the most significant activity will be to the north and east of the metro area.

As drier air sweeps in early next week, temperatures will climb, with some lower elevations experiencing brief high heat risks on Tuesday. However, a cooling trend is expected to follow by midweek, offering some relief from the heat.
