San Francisco has earned the title of the healthiest city in California, according to WalletHub’s latest rankings. The city topped the list of the healthiest places to live in the United States, excelling in healthcare, food options, fitness opportunities, and green space.

WalletHub’s analysis compared 182 cities nationwide across four key dimensions: healthcare, food, fitness, and green space. The evaluation, which used 41 metrics scored on a 100-point scale, placed San Francisco at the forefront due to its abundant resources in these areas.

Other California cities that performed well in the rankings include San Diego, Irvine, and Los Angeles. The report highlights how cities with strong healthcare systems, ample healthy food options, robust fitness infrastructure, and plentiful green spaces contribute to better overall health for their residents.
