The National Weather Service (NWS) in San Francisco has issued its latest forecast for the Bay Area, indicating that temperatures will remain at or slightly below seasonal averages throughout the upcoming week. The region can expect breezy onshore winds and the presence of early morning stratus, particularly along the coast and in the Berkeley-San Leandro Hills.

Today, patchy stratus clouds have already started to form along the coast, gradually expanding overnight. The weather pattern, influenced by a weak Omega Block, is expected to keep conditions relatively stable. Inland areas may experience a slight warming trend, with temperatures reaching the 80s, and up to the mid-90s in the warmest spots. Bayshore areas will see highs ranging from the upper 60s to mid-70s, while coastal temperatures will linger between the upper 50s and mid-60s.

Breezy conditions are expected to pick up in the afternoon and evening, with gusts of 20-30 miles per hour, particularly in the gaps and passes. A disturbance passing north of the region on Friday may bring isolated showers to areas north of the Golden Gate.
