A major delay is affecting all BART lines in downtown Oakland due to an equipment problem on the track, the agency reported at 9 a.m. Sunday. The disruption has caused significant delays in all directions.

In addition, Red Line service is currently suspended. Passengers traveling to or from Millbrae should use the shuttle train operating between SFO and Millbrae, and then transfer to the Yellow Line (Antioch-SFO). Millbrae riders coming from Richmond should board the Orange/Berryessa train and transfer at MacArthur to the Yellow/SFO train.

BART officials are working to resolve the issue and restore normal service as quickly as possible. Riders are advised to check for updates and plan for potential delays.
