Mobile Home Fire in Talbot County–Accidental
A mobile home fire that occurred late yesterday afternoon on Schockley Lane in Cordova, Talbot County has been ruled accidental. According to the Maryland Office of the State Fire Marshal, the fire was due to a mechanical and electrical failure in the water pump. The American Red Cross was notified of the fire to assist with the occupants. The estimated monetary loss of structure and contents is to be at $100,000.

ShoreRivers Uses Grant Funding to Benefit Local Waterways
Thanks to funding from the Watershed Assistance Grant Program, ShoreRivers is working with a local contractor to design a living shoreline to restore this eroding shoreline that acts as a barrier protecting marinas, a public boat launch, docks, homes, and other infrastructure located along Little Creek Road in Chester, MD.
